Hello! I’m Nicole and I’m from Ottawa, Canada. I am a far cry from professional baker/chef.. but I really enjoy doing both. I must admit that I have had some disasters in the kitchen, some recipes didn’t go quite as planned, but most of the time things turn out nicely and sometimes my creations have even earned a 5/5 star rating from my husband!

I have always enjoyed being in the kitchen (I think this stemmed from my love of eating haha), it is my favourite room in the house. I haven’t been able to create as much yummy goodness in the past few months because my darling baby has been taking up most of my time (definitely not complaining about that though!!). I am looking forward to one day sharing my joy of cooking and baking with her and am excited to having her help me make yummy creations in the future.

In the meantime, I hope that this blog will help me share my love of food with those around me and with the world.
